Brands I've Done Work For
Twelve years of paid media, a few names I can say out loud.
That was client work. None of these brands have anything to do with what gets reviewed here.
The Longer Version
Most reviews online hide the money. I'd rather show it. Running paid media for hundreds of brands teaches you exactly how much of what you read online is bought, and by whom.
So here's how it works. Some links on this site pay me a commission, and every post says which ones up front. The verdict gets written before any link goes in. No launch-day takes, and a verdict lands after weeks of real use or it doesn't land at all.
The paid media background is the qualification. I know what a paid placement looks like because I've bought thousands of them. When I tell you Granola earned fourteen dollars a month or Pocket beat Plaud in my pocket, that's a paying customer talking.

What I Can Actually Speak To
The through-line is voice, not category. But some subjects come with more hours behind them than others.
Performance Marketing
Google Ads, Performance Max, measurement. The job for over a decade, and the subject I'll die on hills for.
AI Tools
Notetakers, recorders, agents. If it promises to save me time, I've probably already run it daily and timed the difference.
Spirits
Tequila and bourbon. The bottle is either empty or it isn't.
Everything Else
Cars, couches, cat gear. If money left my account and an opinion formed, it's eligible.
